Caliterra: Dripping Springs Newest Subdivision

Developers of Caliterra, Dripping Springs’ newest master planned community, broke ground today on the 600 acre development. The $500 million project, will include about 585 homes built along Onion Creek on 1/2 acre to 2 acres lots.

Single family residences in this Hill Country subdivision will be built on approximately 350 acres with approximately 250 acres left as open space with the intent of preserving the natural surroundings, maximizing views, and protecting wildlife in the area. As part of the reserved open space, residents will also be able to enjoy a Central Park, bluff overlooks, a fishing pier, community orchards and gardens (See the master plans below). Other amenities include: a treehouse, Barn Hall and gardens for events and a community clubhouse with pool, walking/jogging trails, and other features.

Builders within the development include: Drees Custom Homes, David Weekly Homes and Highland Homes. Custom homebuilders include Sterling Custom Homes, Sommerfeld Custom Builders, Bud Bartley Custom Homes and Randy Rollo Custom Homes. The Caliterra development is within the highly rated Dripping Springs ISD, and is located off of Ranch Road 12 in Dripping Springs about 1/2 mile South of US Hwy 290, just 22 miles Southwest of Austin and 45 miles North of San Antonio.
