We’re excited to announce that the Keller Williams and The Mallett Integrity Team has partnered with 2-10 Home Warranty to offer an invaluable service to our listing clients! As a listing client, 2-10 home warranty will provide coverage for your home while it is on the market. A home warranty covers major systems and appliances that malfunction or break from normal wear and tear. These expensive-to-repair items such as air conditioning and heating units, plumbing, electrical wiring, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and garage door openers age over time, and repairs are inevitable. However, these repairs are the last thing you want to worry about when trying to sell your home, so we’re offering this service to give you peace of mind throughout the sale of your home. That way you can relax, and know we’ve got you covered!
To find out more about this 2-10 home warranty offer for sellers, contact Steve at 512-829-2062.
According to the most recent housing forecast, Fannie Mae economists predict that existing-home sales will rise by 10.5 percent this year, and by 6.2 percent in 2014. The forecast looks even sunnier for new, single-family home sales, projected to grow 15.1 percent this year and an amazing 44.1 percent in 2014! Time will certainly tell if these predictions turn out to be true, but it seems like a great sign of a recovering housing market.

Christina Cooley, senior manager of the real estate practice at J.D. Power and Associates, discussed findings from the 2012 Home Buyer/Seller Satisfaction Study:
“As customers continue to feel anxious about the current housing market, it requires a combination of a high-performing company, process and resources along with a truly exceptional agent to put home buyers and sellers at ease,” said Cooley. “At the end of the day, real estate companies may best satisfy their customers by keeping them informed, educating them on comparable sales information and following up with them after the closing.”
