The Dripping Springs Trails Plan Advisory Committee is working on a plan for a world-class trail system to connect Dripping Springs and surrounding areas. With the assistance of a National Park Service grant, the Dripping Springs Trails Plan Advisory Committee is envisioning trail system that will connect a network of routes across the city and the ETJ (extraterritorial jurisdiction) that will allow residents and visitors to run, bike, walk, and hike in and around Dripping Springs. The trails will potentially feature a variety of trails from paved, to multi-use, to hiking trails and will take advantage of opportunities to reach other local trails like the Violet Crown Trail in SW Austin.
The committee’s upmost priority is a Dripping Springs Trail system that will be welcoming and safe for users of all ages, abilities, and levels of mobility. To that end, the committee is currently looking for feedback about the system. If this is something that interests you, please take a few minutes to provide your input here and feel free to share the link with anyone you think may be interested. http://surveymonkey.com/s/DSTrails
